Project / Site Manager Major Hospital Project

Location: South Wales
Salary: Β£45,000 Β£55,000 + Car Allowance

I'm very to keen to speak with Main contracting level Site managers or Subcontracting level project managers who have experience workng in hospitals.

The successful candidate will oversee a specialist flooring package on site, working closely with the Main Contractor and managing the day-to-day delivery of the works.

The role will involve:

  • Managing and coordinating works on site
  • Overseeing Flooring specialist operatives and installation teams
  • Reading and interpreting construction drawings
  • Monitoring progress against programme
  • Liaising with the Main Contractor and wider project team
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required standard
  • Providing progress updates and maintaining relevant site documentation

What we re looking for:

  • Strong Site Management or low level Project Management experience
  • Previous experience working within hospital or healthcare construction environments highly desirable
  • Ability to confidently read, understand and challenge construction drawings
  • Good understanding of construction sequencing and site processes
  • Computer literate
  • CSCS essential
  • SMSTS advantageous
  • Specialist flooring experience is not essential.

The focus is on finding a capable construction manager who can coordinate works, manage people and ensure the project progresses efficiently.

Permanent employment is preferred, although experienced freelance managers are also encouraged to get in touch.
