Looking for a role to fit in within school hours and have Fridays off? We have been asked to recruit a part-time Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant for a company based in Northampton.
*20 hours a week over 4 days, office based. This is a stand-alone role where you’ll work closely with the Director ensuring the accounts department is running smoothly. What they need is someone who is proactive and able to manage their own workload.
Below is a small overview of what you’ll be doing:
- Reconciling bank statements (all companies)
- Inputting and raising invoices in Xero
- Maintaining spreadsheets for income, cashflow, internal transfers
- Maintaining control accounts and intercompany reconciliation accounts
- End of month manual adjustments/journals - alongside the external accountants
- General administration
