Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established FM service provider operating across London. 360 Recruitment are currently seeking an M&E Foot Mobile Technician to cover a portfolio of 9 commercial buildings throughout Zones 1 & 2.
The successful candidate will be mechanically and electrically skilled, holding a Level 3 qualification (C&G/NVQ) in a relevant discipline, with a strong background in commercial building maintenance. This is a foot mobile role, so you’ll attend multiple sites to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical plant.
In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £46,000 (depending on experience/qualifications), overtime, training, and long-term development opportunities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM & reactive maintenance on:
- Pumps, motors, seals, bearings, compressors
- Wet systems
- Chlorifiers, actuators, strainers
- Unvented systems
- AHUs / FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic checks)
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday - 08:00 – 17:00 (Days only)
Saturday overtime paid at x 1.5
Sunday overtime paid at x 2
1 in 6 call out - £100
Lots of overtime available
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) in an M&E-related discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Heating & Ventilation, Plumbing, etc.)
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
- Strong experience within commercial building maintenance
- Good understanding of M&E systems within commercial environments
- Multi-skilled with both mechanical and electrical competency
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Must be comfortable working on a foot mobile basis across multiple sites (no vehicle provided)
