360 Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Site Manager on a decommissioning project in Scotland. Our client specialises in demolition, remediation & decommissioning, and operates nationwide.
Location: Scotland
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on project experience)
Benefits: Car/allowance, digs, subsistence allowance
This role includes working on a shift pattern, with weekend rates in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safe and efficient on-site delivery of decommissioning works, coordinating resources, equipment, and schedules.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and visitors, delivering site inductions, issuing PPE, and ensuring full Health & Safety compliance.
- Manage day-to-day site activities, resolving issues and escalating complex matters to the Contracts Manager.
- Advise the Project Manager on progress, risks, and performance.
- Interpret technical specifications, RAMS, Safety Cases, and Method Statements.
- Plan and coordinate decommissioning projects in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor programme, budget, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead Health & Safety on site in coordination with the H&S team.
- Manage staff, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring training, competency, and performance standards.
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact, reporting progress and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Maintain site records, daily diaries, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- CCDO Black Manager's card.
- First Aid at Work.
- Asbestos Management.
- Experience working on industrial demolition/decommissioning.
- Willing and able to get SC clearance.
