Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

Location: Central London, predominantly Zone 1

Project Values: £200k – £5M

We\’re currently recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor who are expanding their division focused on smaller-value, client-focused construction projects. They re looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial background and excellent client-facing skills.

This division delivers a wide range of commercial, fit out, refurbishment, and high-end residential projects across London, and due to continued growth they re looking for someone who can confidently manage around 2 – 3 live projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial management of multiple projects ranging from £200k to £5M.
• Cost planning, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Procurement of subcontractors and contract administration.
• Preparing and negotiating variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Providing support during estimating, tendering, and wider preconstruction phases.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring outstanding customer service.

Candidate Profile

• Ideally 4 years + experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
• Background in commercial fit out, refurbishment, or high-end residential essential.
• Ability to handle multiple fast-paced projects at once.
• Experience in estimating, tenders, and preconstruction is highly advantageous.
