We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precast concrete manufacturer based in the Retford area. Due to continued growth and increasing production demands, they are looking to recruit a Mixer Truck Driver to join their busy production team. This is a long-term opportunity with genuine temp-to-perm prospects for the right candidate.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable Mixer Truck Driver to operate a site-based concrete mixer truck within a busy precast concrete production yard. Please note: This role does not involve road driving. The mixer truck operates solely within the production facility, transporting concrete between batching plants, moulding areas, and production departments across the yard. No formal driving qualifications or HGV licences are required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating a site-based mixer truck safely within the concrete yard
- Transporting fresh concrete from the batching plant to production areas
- Supplying concrete to moulding and casting teams as required
- Monitoring concrete loads and ensuring timely deliveries around the site
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Cleaning and washing down the mixer truck at the end of shifts
- Assisting batching and production teams when required
- Supporting general yard operations and housekeeping duties
- Following all site health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience operating plant, machinery, agricultural equipment, forklifts, site vehicles, or similar equipment would be advantageous
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work within a busy production environment
- No formal qualifications required
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Must have own transport due to the location of the site
- No public transport access available
