The Opportunity
A growing renewable energy and building services organisation is seeking a
Renewable Technologies Electrician to join its expanding team.
This role offers the chance to work with low-carbon technologies across residential, commercial and public sector environments, carrying out installations, maintenance, repairs and fault-finding.
Renewable energy experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair electrical and renewable energy systems
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
- Work on Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, EV Charging Points and Battery Storage Systems
- Complete planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Carry out testing, certification and compliance documentation
- Ensure all work complies with BS7671 and company safety standards
- Deliver excellent customer service on-site
About You
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Strong testing and compliance knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication skills
Desirable
- Solar PV, EV Charging or Heat Pump experience
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Experience within social housing, commercial or public sector environments
