The Role
We are recruiting for a
General Operative to join a busy metal recycling facility in Rainham, London.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting all areas of the site.
You'll be involved in processing and preparing scrap metal while assisting with general yard operations.
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- Key Duties
- Sorting and processing scrap metal
- Cleaning and preparing metal for recycling
- Cutting metal using angle grinders and buzz saws
- Assisting with general yard and production duties
Requirements
- Previous metal recycling or scrap yard experience preferred but not essential
- Experience using angle grinders and buzz saws is highly desirable
- Any FLT or plant machinery tickets would be an advantage
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Right to work in the UK ( essential )
- Recent work references ( essential )
