About the Company
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer within the precast concrete sector. Operating from a busy production facility, the company supplies high-quality concrete products to major construction and infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing business with long-term prospects.
The Role
We are currently looking for General Operatives to join a busy precast concrete production team. This role is open to candidates of all experience levels — whether you have previous precast experience or are new to the industry. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a hands‑on attitude are essential. Candidates with experience in precast concrete, wetcast, finishing, or similar industries will be considered for higher rates of pay.
Shift Pattern & Hours
Monday to Friday 06:00am – 04:00pm
Pay & Benefits
- £13.00 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience) + holiday pay

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting in the production of precast concrete products
- Preparing, building, and cleaning moulds
- Pouring and casting concrete
- Finishing products to required standards
- General yard and production duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting skilled operatives and learning new tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in precast concrete or similar (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to graft and learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Own transport required due to location
