About the Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established precast concrete manufacturer with a busy production facility in the NG13 area. Due to continued growth and increasing workloads, they are looking to add an experienced Concrete Finisher to their production team. This is a long‑term opportunity with genuine temp‑to‑perm prospects for the right candidate.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to carry out finishing and quality work on a range of precast concrete products within a busy production yard environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring finished products meet quality standards before dispatch and will work closely with the wider production team to maintain efficient operations.

Shift Pattern & Hours

  • Monday to Friday 6:00am – 4:00pm
  • Overtime available
  • Immediate start available

Pay & Benefits

  • £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Finishing and repairing precast concrete products
  • Filling, patching, grinding and smoothing concrete surfaces
  • Carrying out quality inspections on finished products
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Assisting with mould preparation and stripping when required
  • Maintaining high production and quality standards
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
  • General yard and production duties as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in concrete finishing, precast concrete production, construction, or a similar environment
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a production yard environment
  • Reliable and hardworking attitude
  • Must have own transport and be able to drive due to the location of the site
  • Please note there is no public transport access to the production yard
