We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established modular construction company specialising in the manufacture and assembly of high-quality modular buildings for a wide range of commercial and industrial projects. Operating from a busy production facility, the company delivers all aspects of modular build production and offers long-term opportunities within a growing sector. Due to continued growth and increased workload, multiple positions are now available across the production teams.
Roles Available
- Skilled Joiners
PAYE: £16.00 per hour + £1.93 holiday pay
CIS Options: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour - Semi-Skilled Operatives
PAYE: £14.32 per hour + £1.73 holiday pay
CIS Options: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour - General Operatives
PAYE: £12.71 per hour + £1.53 holiday pay
Shift Patterns
- Day Shift
Monday – Thursday: 08:00am – 04:30pm
Friday: 08:00am – 03:30pm
Overtime available after 39 hours
Weekend overtime available - Twilight Shift
Monday – Thursday: 05:00pm – 01:30am
Friday: 05:00pm – 12:30am
Overtime available after 39 hours
Weekend overtime available
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Skilled Joiners
Working from drawings and specifications
Installing and assembling modular building components
Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Carrying out finishing and fit-out work to high standards
Supporting production and assembly teams where required - Semi-Skilled Operatives
Assisting joiners and production teams
Using basic hand and power tools
Supporting assembly and installation processes
General production and factory duties - General Operatives
General labouring and factory support duties
Moving materials and assisting production teams
Maintaining clean and safe working areas
Supporting site operations where required
Opportunity to develop and progress within the factory
Tools, PPE & Site Requirements
- All workers must provide their own tools
- Semi-skilled workers require a basic toolbox
- Skilled workers require additional tools including saws, jigsaws, and other trade tools
- 5-point PPE is required at all times
- Site operates a clock in / clock out system using fob access
