Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations
- Manage subcontractors, labour, and plant
- Ensure works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations
- Coordinate with project manager, engineers, and client
- Monitor progress against programme and report on milestones
- Maintain site records, RAMS, and permits
- Deliver quality control and ensure compliance with specifications
- Lead site meetings and toolbox talks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor within civil engineering
- Strong background in areas such as groundworks, highways, drainage, demolition, etc
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS Card (Black/Gold preferred)
- First Aid at Work (desirable)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical plans
- You must have SC Clearance or the ability to obtain
