We are recruiting for an experienced 360 Grab / Material Handler / Crane Driver to join a busy metal recycling facility in Saltley, Birmingham. This role is approximately 80% machine operation and 20% general yard duties, working within a fast-paced scrap and metal recycling environment.
Key Duties
- Operating a 360 Grab / Material Handler safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading scrap metal and recyclable materials
- Feeding processing equipment and managing stockpiles
- Loading trailers and containers
- Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Assisting with general yard duties when required
- Following all site health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous 360 Grab / Material Handler / Crane operating experience (essential)
- Experience within the metal recycling, scrap, waste, quarry, or aggregates industry (preferred)
- Valid operator tickets preferred (in-date ideal)
- In-house ticket renewals can be provided
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety conscious
