My client is recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join their Wills, Trust and Probate (Private Client) team in the Emworth office.
Main responsibilities will include:
To provide support to the Wills Trust and Probate team by providing competent and
efficient secretarial and administrative assistance in the daily running of the busy
department.
Duties will include:
• Open new files
• Tie up incoming post with client files, liaise with fee earner as to required tasks,
deal with queries, agree action etc.
• Undertake general secretarial duties including dictation, diary management and
file administration
• Chase outstanding documentation, liaising with external agencies such as HMRC
and the Office of the Public Guardian
• File closure administration
Skills and experience require:
• Experience working as a Legal Assistant in Private Client / Wills and Probate. xwwtmva
• Very organised, able to manage own work allocation, productivity and quality of
work with minimum supervision
• Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list
• Detail orientated and accurate
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Self-motivated
• Articulate and a good communicator
• Proficient in using a computerized case management and accounting system
• Able to work in a team.
