Warehouse Operative Food Manufacturing Telford Permanent We are currently seeking hardworking and dedicated individuals to join my client\’s team in a cold food environment, to work in Telford, Shropshire. As a Processing Operative, you will play a vital role in the processing of meat products, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the production process Working from 7am, Monday to Friday, this role requires flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand in the preparation of a fresh product. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Working in an active slaughterhouse with the use of knives and other equipment. Carry out all activities and roles within the abattoir in line with individual training matrix including rodding, legging, flanking etc. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and meet customer demand. Undertaking manual handling tasks, using equipment or machinery when required. Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Willingness to handle and work with animal carcasses. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions. We also welcome applications from candidates who have knife handling experience in other roles (not necessarily a butchery environment) who wish to start a career in Meat Processing Industry
