Freelance Site Manager in Brentwood, CM15 – Refurbishment & Roofing Works
Freelance / Contract for approximately 14 weeks.
Salary: £220.00 - £250.00 per day DOE

An excellent opportunity for a freelance No 1 Site Manager has arisen with our Refurbishment / Roofing Client who deliver outstanding refurbishment schemes with project values from £500k to £2.5 million.
The role involves working on the refurbishment and re-roofing of a private hospital building in the Brentwood, CM15 area, running for around 15 weeks starting on the 23rd June 2025.
The Company is building a strong reputation for delivering high quality and well-designed schemes that achieve high praise from end users.
Suitable candidates must have experience as an autonomous No.1 Site Manager with project values from £500k to £2.5 million across the refurbishment, construction, and/or roofing sectors ideally.
You will be required to:
- liaise with the client
- drive the subcontractors
- manage contractors on site as the No.1
- handle general day-to-day issues, quality, and programme
The No 1 Site Manager must be capable of managing all aspects of the project, with previous experience of liaising with clients on a daily basis while reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
Skills / Requirements:
- Previous refurbishment, construction, and/or roofing experience
- CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, SMSTS, Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Fire Marshal / Warden
- Experience of site managing refurbishment schemes is ideal for this client, with values up to £2.5 million

Salary and Benefits:
On offer is a day rate of up to £250 dependent upon experience for the successful candidate.
