350.org is looking for a Global Digital Fundraiser with 7+ years of experience overseeing a digital fundraising program to raise $3M+ annually through channels across Europe and North America.
About 350.org: 350.org is building a global grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis. Our online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions are led from the bottom up by thousands of volunteer organizers in over 188 countries. 350.org works hard to organize in a new way—everywhere at once, using online tools to facilitate strategic offline action. We want to be a laboratory for the best ways to strengthen the climate movement and catalyse transformation around the world.
The Global Digital Fundraiser will produce, deploy, and analyse global digital fundraising appeals across email, paid media, SMS, website, and social media. This individual has 7+ years of experience in raising $3M+ annually through digital fundraising efforts across Europe and North America. They have a strong history working with digital fundraising tools and solutions across Meta, Google, Salesforce, and other CRM, Fundraising, and Paid Media platforms. This individual will refine the process for reviewing and evaluating our Global Digital Fundraising efforts to improve ROI across all channels and create the most effective strategy for revenue growth, as well as donor growth and retention. The Global Digital Fundraiser will work closely with the entire Individual Giving and Engagement Team and will report to the Individual Giving Director.
- Oversee the Global Digital Fundraising program, including working with a small team of colleagues and consultants in Europe and North America, to create and deploy a strategy that delivers $3M+ in annual digital revenue, alongside other growth metrics.
- Support the Director, Individual Giving, in developing digital strategy to grow income and numbers of supporters in current and new markets.
- Develop the content and lead the implementation of digital fundraising efforts at the global, national, and regional levels across email, SMS, paid media, social media, and website.
- Create compelling fundraising campaigns and assets in all channels that inspire donors to give, give again, and give larger donations; as required, support rapid response content to drive donations.
- Monitor and analyse the Global Digital Fundraising program's performance across all channels and data sets to ensure we are capturing the greatest ROI with our strategy and meeting/exceeding our annual goals among revenue growth, donor growth, and retention.
- Support the Individual Giving Director in creating the most accurate revenue projections and forecasting across all digital outreach.
- Support the Digital Engagement and Technology Director in ensuring the adoption of innovative tools and methods that grow and activate more donors.
- Collaborate with the entire Individual Giving Team to amplify ongoing donor cultivation and strategy.
- Overall, work closely with national, regional, and global staff to design and implement effective digital fundraising content that increases 350.org's donor base and revenue generation.

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of creating and implementing effective digital fundraising strategies that have raised $3M+ annually in Europe and/or North America.
- Significant experience with paid media strategies for digital fundraising across European markets and/or North American, as well as emerging markets.
- Strong familiarity with digital fundraising tools and platforms such as Google Suite, FundraiseUp, ActionKit, ActBlue, Meta, Salesforce; plus proficiency with HTML and CSS needed to run digital programs.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills in planning, prioritising, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and communications skills.
- High level of confidence and ability to work independently as well as within a team structure; proven ability to work well with diverse groups of people in different departments, functions, and time zones.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written.
- Alignment with 350.org's vision, mission, and progressive values.
- Experience with experimental design, data visualisation, and statistical analysis.
- Strong capacity to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect confidential data.

- Strong history of commitment to climate justice and other environmental and social issues.
- Experience working in or collaborating with other nonprofit departments, including finance, individual giving, communications, and grants.
Position Type: Full Time (36 hours per week)

Compensation: We offer set, non-negotiable salaries for each level, and this role is at 350.org's internal salary grade level 2.3.
Benefits: In addition to a fully remote, 36-hour work week and two all-staff breaks per year, we offer a suite of comprehensive benefits - details depend on the location of the role, but we generally aim for employees to receive high-quality health insurance and retirement planning benefits in their respective location.
Location: This is a fully remote position with the preference for the employee to be based in the UK. Other possible locations are the Netherlands, Germany, South Africa, or the United States.
