The Equity Trade Operations Analyst works as part of a global team performing and reviewing exception handling across all accounts and products. The role involves analyzing exceptions, determining appropriate corrective actions, and implementing solutions while continuously improving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze exceptions across all accounts and products, assess impact, and determine appropriate resolution actions.
  • Apply judgment to resolve exceptions and implement timely solutions, with oversight from the Lead Analyst when necessary.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement initiatives and lead small to moderately sized internal or external projects.
  • Provide oversight of daily production and delivery of work, ensuring exceptions for the assigned area of focus are identified, assessed, and resolved.
  • Act as a technical subject‑matter expert for the assigned area and provide guidance on exception handling.
  • Collaborate with other Equity Operations departments—legal & compliance, trading, core operations, and vendors—to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Perform and monitor complex operational duties for investment vehicles servicing institutional, retail, and high‑net‑worth distribution channels.
  • Handle trade confirmation, processing, settlement, and claims for global equity markets.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities related to operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
