We are seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking Depot Operations Manager to be based at one of our three Gloucestershire depots in Cheltenham, Gloucester, or Stroud. In this role you will lead, inspire, and support our team to maintain high standards of service and deliver excellent operational performance across a diverse network of urban, rural, and inter‑urban routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and ensure the welfare of the driving team.
- Plan and deliver a cost‑effective, customer‑focused daily operation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the delivery of a safe, reliable, and high‑quality service.
- Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager to drive overall depot performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Operations Manager ready for a new challenge.
- Transport Manager CPC Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead with confidence and clarity.
- Working knowledge of allocation systems and relevant transport legislation.
- A calm, capable approach to typical management challenges.
