About the Role
The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Wiley’s AI & Data Analytics is a high‑impact individual contributor responsible for shaping how the market understands and values Wiley’s solutions. The role owns product positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategy to drive pipeline growth, accelerate sales cycles, and establish Wiley as the content and intelligence partner of choice for scientific knowledge workflows across pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical research organisations.
Job Responsibilities
- Product Launch & Go‑to‑Market Strategy – Own end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy for AI and Data & Analytics, develop and execute comprehensive GTM plans, lead cross‑functional launch coordination, and monitor post‑launch performance.
- Product Positioning & Value‑Based Messaging – Develop and own positioning and messaging framework, translate complex AI and data capabilities into clear value narratives, create high‑quality collateral, and ensure consistent application across campaigns.
- Market Intelligence & Voice of Customer – Maintain a continuous voice‑of‑customer programme, conduct market analysis, translate insights into product roadmap input, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Sales Enablement & Commercial Alignment – Develop sales enablement programmes, serve as subject‑matter expert, deliver training, and collaborate with sales leadership on targeted marketing responses.
- Business Stakeholder Management – Act as connective tissue among product, sales, field marketing, and leadership teams, communicate strategy and progress, and ensure commercial and customer considerations are embedded in product decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 5 years in health and life sciences, scientific technology, or pharma/biotech solutions.
- Experience positioning and launching AI‑enabled, data intelligence, or SaaS products into research and development‑focused organisations.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical research workflows.
- Proven track record of measurable commercial impact (pipeline contribution, win rate improvement, or revenue growth).
- Ability to craft compelling, value‑based messaging for complex scientific and AI‑enabled products.
- Strong analytical skills to translate customer insight into actionable strategy.
- Executive presence and confidence to present and defend strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong project management capability across concurrent programmes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in scholarly publishing, academic research tools, or scientific information services.
- Familiarity with drug discovery platforms, clinical decision support systems, or biomedical literature tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer meetings, industry events, and internal conferences.
