Everfox, formerly Forcepoint Federal, is seeking a Sales Engineer to support our defense‑grade, high assurance cyber‑security solutions in the UK, NATO and EMEA regions. The role involves technical pre‑sales support for government and defense clients, leading pilots, demos, and technical evaluations, while collaborating closely with Account Executives to drive the sale of insider threat, data protection, cloud security, and cross‑domain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with prospective customers to position Everfox security solutions and shape project requirements.
- Manage the technical sales process from discovery, proof‑of‑concept delivery, to proposal development.
- Present the technical merits of Everfox solutions, deliver product demos and pilots, and handle technical objections.
- Configure Everfox security solutions to deliver actionable analytics and work closely with clients and engineering teams to ensure successful pilots.
- Provide technical support to sales teams, create high‑quality presentations, and respond rapidly to requests for information.
- Attend industry events and conferences to support go‑to‑market activities.
Technical Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies including internet security, anti‑malware, proxies, Windows, Linux, SIEM, networking, and scripting.
- Experience in cloud, virtualized and networked environments, especially VMWare, KVM, and Hyper‑V.
- Practical experience with Web Security, Email Security, Secure Data Transfer, and Access solutions.
- Advanced understanding of enterprise networking, SaaS and cloud solutions such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Key Experience and Skills
- Strong sales‑engineering pre‑sales experience supporting critical security solutions in the government/defense space.
- Eligibility for a security clearance; ideally cleared to at least UK SC.
- Experience building relationships throughout the sales cycle with customers’ technical staff.
- Ability to articulate product positioning and competitive differentiation to both business and technical audiences.
- Experience responding to functional and technical RFIs/RFPs.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Deep knowledge of the sales cycle and pre‑sales activities.
- Experience working with technical teams and end users.

Compensation and Benefits
