The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
To act as a first point of contact for onshore HR Co-ordinators and work with them to resolve day to day HR matters and provide guidance. Providing support to the HR Manager and Rig Manager while acting as a conduit between the HR Co-ordinators and Operations Management. Actively lead in payroll, onshore recruitment, performance management and general HR matters. Assist in the development and implementation of employment policies, process and practices as well as recommend changes to management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR Co-ordinators in their daily tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide guidance and mentoring for the development of HR Co-ordinators in general HR matters.
- Lead disciplinary and grievance matters when required and provide accurate guidance in line with current Country Employment Law.
- Work with HR Manager for the recruitment of offshore and shorebased personnel and prepare/issue Employment Contracts, liaise with IT department for onboarding topics and carry out inductions for new onshore employees.
- Coordinate monthly Headcount.
- Coordinate payroll data (exceptions) in preparation to submission to payroll department.
- Work with HR Co-ordinators to ensure offshore personnel who are on sick leave are being managed in a positive manner.
- Liaise with Occupational Health Service providers (Regional).
- Attendance at weekly rig meetings with HR Co-ordinators to provide guidance and resolution to queries being raised.
- Work with HR Co-ordinators to develop and propose plan for offshore personnel transfers within fleet.
- Cover for HR Co-ordinators annual leave.
- Project work or general HR tasks as directed by HR Manager.
- Attendance at HR Forums, for example IADC.
- Periodic offshore/shipyard visits.
- Benefit Administration.
- Support OIM and Rig Manager with promotions, demotions and transfers.
- Maintain accurate and up to date personnel files (paper and HRIS system).
- Effective interpretation and application of HR policies and processes and communicating them to offshore personnel; initiate updates as necessary.
- Any other HR generalist duties as directed by the HR Manager.
- Support with recruitment events as required.
- Maintain familiarity with Competence Management Process.
- Provide support to the Emergency Response Team as required.
- Provide HR on-call cover as and when scheduled.
- Perform other duties, complete additional tasks and support ad hoc projects as required.
Communicates internally with Employees, Co-Workers, Supervisor/Manager, Colleagues, Payroll and Management Team. Communicates externally with travel, accommodation and training providers and agent in terms of visas/work permits. While the position has no direct reports, it oversees the daily tasks of HR Co-ordinators ensuring deadlines are met. Office based role which provides general HR policy and procedure advice, requires attention to detail and data management working under limited supervision and where problems can be difficult and sometimes complex. Occasional offshore/shipyard visits may be required in this role.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar qualification or extensive relevant experience at Company’s discretion.
- Achieved or working towards CIPD membership or local equivalent.
- Valid offshore survival and pre-mobilisation certification (ie BOSIET, CA-EBS, any other regional pre-mobilisation requirements).
- Experience in general HR at an advisory level and Logistics/Crew Management.
- Excellent communication skills: Fluency in written and spoken English required.
- Competent use of HRIS systems and MS Office.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in a complex, challenging environment to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate commitment to Borr Management Systems and support initiatives for continuous improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality of Company and personnel information.
- Highly effective relationship building skills both internal & external; personally drive high performance and lead through example.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude at all times while dealing with a wide range of people in all communications (face-to-face, telephone and written).
- Proficient problem-solving skills; demonstrate ability to evaluate problems from differing viewpoints and recognise potential root cause of problems (ie compliance, training issues).
