Role: PAM Consultant

Location: London (Hybrid)

Travel/Mobility Requirement: Flexibility to travel to client site as required

Security Clearance: This role requires a 5+ year UK address history for the security clearance process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions tailored to client environments, covering policies, processes, and tooling.
  • Lead the deployment and configuration of PAM platforms (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust), ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.
  • Identify and assess risks related to privileged access, defining and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strengthen security posture by proactively managing vulnerabilities across privileged accounts.
  • Ensure PAM solutions align with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA).
  • Define, implement, and enforce PAM governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in IT security with a focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Hands‑on experience with leading PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Thycotic/Delinea).
  • Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of cloud‑specific PAM requirements.
  • Strong understanding of PAM principles, controls, and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of IAM concepts, security frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Desirable: Master’s degree or advanced academic qualification.
  • Desirable: Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to support PAM operations.
  • Desirable: Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Desirable: Clear communication and documentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
