Join as a French speaking Compliance Officer in the EMEA Marketing & Distribution Compliance Team and become part of a collaborative, forward‑thinking function at the heart of a globally respected asset manager based in Henley on Thames. This opportunity allows you to build breadth, visibility, and influence in a growing business where compliance is a true partner to the front office. You will work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Distribution, Legal, Risk and Compliance, acting as a trusted adviser on financial promotions, cross‑border distribution rules and regulatory change across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Member of the EMEA Marketing & Distribution Compliance Team
- Review and approve financial promotions and marketing communications across EMEA
- Provide regulatory advice on cross‑border distribution rules in EMEA and globally
- Support strategic business projects with compliance input and challenge
- Deliver practical, solution‑oriented compliance advice to the business and management
- Analyse regulatory developments and assess their impact on marketing and distribution activities
- Collaborate with global compliance teams to enhance and improve marketing compliance processes
- Work closely with other EMEA Compliance functions on regulatory change and strategic initiatives
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance‑related projects
- Research regulatory topics and provide clear guidance to stakeholders
- Respond to internal compliance queries, escalating where appropriate
- Contribute to the production and maintenance of marketing compliance policies and procedures
- Support and collaborate with colleagues across the team
Qualifications
- First experience in Compliance and/or Marketing
- Knowledge of financial products and services
- Graduate or equivalent professional experience
- Fluent French
- Strong PC skills
- A collaborative team‑player mindset
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Open‑minded, flexible, and comfortable working in an international environment
