We are seeking an experienced and proactive PFI Technical Services Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised professional with a strong technical background to take ownership of the management, performance, and lifecycle of operational and technical assets across a PFI contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring assets are maintained, compliant, cost-effective, and operating at peak performance to support service delivery and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate asset registers and documentation
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
  • Monitor asset performance, condition, and lifecycle planning
  • Auditing contractors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital replacement programmes
  • Produce reports, audits, and performance analysis for senior management
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings
  • Ensure all technical assets are maintained in line with company standards and procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in PFI Asset management, technical services, facilities management, or engineering in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of HTMs building services, maintenance operations, or technical infrastructure
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using CAFM or asset management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Knowledge of compliance and statutory regulations within technical environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
