An established civil engineering and MEICA contractor delivering major projects across the Severn Trent AMP8 framework is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support a growing portfolio of secured work. With a strong order book and significant investment planned over the next two years, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business offering genuine long-term career progression rather than a role tied to a single project. Your first assignment will be on a major sewage treatment works before progressing onto further AMP8 schemes across the West and East Midlands.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
    • Planning and coordinating daily site activities
    • Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality
    • Monitoring progress against programme
    • Liaising with clients, engineers and project stakeholders
    • Managing site documentation and reporting
    • Supporting the successful delivery of MEICA installation works

About You

We're keen to speak with Site Managers who have experience delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects and are comfortable managing live construction environments. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous Site Manager experience within the water sector
  • Experience delivering MEICA or civil engineering projects
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working on AMP frameworks would be advantageous but isn't essential.
