We are partnering with a growing facilities management organisation operating within a complex performance-driven PFI contract environment. Due to a need to strengthen commercial control, contractor performance, and operational delivery, they are looking to appoint a Head of Service Delivery to take ownership of a key contract. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will play a critical part in improving supplier performance, enhancing governance, and driving operational excellence.
Key Areas of Focus
- Service Delivery & Operations
- Lead delivery across planned and reactive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with contractual KPIs and SLAs
- Drive continuous improvement across service performance
- CAFM & Reporting
- Oversee CAFM system performance and data integrity
- Ensure accurate asset information and reporting capability
- Lead the production and quality of monthly performance reporting
- Contractor & Procurement Management
- Review and optimise the current subcontractor base
- Strengthen procurement processes and governance
- Drive improved supplier performance, accountability, and value for money
- Implement strategies to reduce cost leakage and improve commercial outcomes
- Commercial & Financial Oversight
- Manage budgets across maintenance and lifecycle activities
- Monitor spend, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Lead cost-saving and efficiency initiatives
- Planned Maintenance & Lifecycle
- Oversee annual maintenance planning and delivery
- Ensure lifecycle programmes align with asset condition and contractual requirements
- Monitor delivery against programme, budget, and compliance targets
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop internal teams across helpdesk, compliance, and procurement
- Act as a senior point of contact for client and stakeholder engagement
- Manage escalations and maintain strong working relationships
Qualifications / Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior FM / service delivery leadership role
- Strong background within PFI/PPP contracts – Essential
- PFI healthcare – advantage
- Experience managing subcontractors and improving supplier performance
- Demonstrated ability to control costs and drive commercial improvements
- Good understanding of CAFM systems and operational reporting
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
