Role: Electrical Project Manager – Large Hospital\\n\\nLocation: Manchester\\n\\nRate: £350 – £400 per day CIS (ongoing freelance)\\n\\nContract: Long-term – 13-year PFI contract (Temp-to-Perm available)\\n\\nClearance: Enhanced DBS required\\n\\nWe are recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver high-value electrical lifecycle and refurbishment projects on a major healthcare site in Manchester. Working as part of a long-standing PFI contract with up to 13 years of ongoing work, this role offers security, variety, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position if desired.\\n\\nProjects range from £10k to £1.5m and form part of a large-scale renovation and ongoing lifecycle programme, requiring a skilled professional who can confidently operate in a live hospital environment.\\n\\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\\n\\nLead Electrical Lifecycle Projects – Manage end-to-end delivery of electrical works within the RIBA stages, from planning through to completion.\\nSubcontractor Management – Oversee and coordinate specialist electrical contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are met.\\nCompliance & Safety – Maintain strict adherence to HTMs, industry standards, and healthcare regulations, upholding the highest levels of safety on site.\\nStakeholder Communication – Act as the key liaison between the client, project teams, and subcontractors, providing regular updates, mitigating risks, and driving solutions.\\nBudget & Programme Control – Monitor costs and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.\\nWhat We're Looking For:\\n\\nStrong technical expertise in electrical installations, ideally within healthcare settings (emergency power, critical care, specialist lighting, comms systems).\\nProven track record in project management, delivering large-scale electrical works in live, operational environments.\\nSound knowledge of RIBA stages and HTM requirements.\\nExceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills.\\nCommitment to health & safety best practice.\\n\\nThis is a prime opportunity to work on one of the North West's most significant healthcare estates, with a guaranteed long-term pipeline and the option to secure a permanent role down the line.\\n\\nTo apply, please send your CV to (url removed)
