300 North are recruiting for an experienced clerk of works to oversee the safe and compliant delivery of construction and building services projects across fixed Central Government sites in London. Acting as the client-side representative on site, you will provide independent oversight of contractors and ensure works are delivered to the required quality, programme and technical standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor works against approved drawings, specifications and programme milestones.
- Oversee contractor performance, workmanship and site safety.
- Ensure RAMS, permits, isolations and access controls are appropriate for live environments.
- Identify delivery risks, delays and quality concerns, escalating these to the Project Manager.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, designers, contractors and operational teams.
- Produce accurate, evidence-based site reports.
- Support inspections, snagging and project readiness reviews.
