A PFI Technical Services Consultant is required to join a specialist consultancy supporting PFI healthcare and education estates across the UK. Working from home with travel to client sites, you'll provide technical engineering advice, undertake compliance reviews, support asset management activities and deliver high-quality consultancy services across complex property portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consultancy across Mechanical and/or Electrical building services.
  • Carry out engineering compliance audits and technical inspections.
  • Review maintenance strategies, asset performance and lifecycle requirements.
  • Produce clear technical reports with practical recommendations.
  • Advise clients on engineering compliance, statutory obligations and industry best practice.
  • Support condition surveys, asset management reviews and CAFM system assessments.
  • Work alongside project teams to deliver consultancy commissions to agreed timescales.
  • Build strong relationships with clients across healthcare and education PFI estates.

Role Requirements

  • Recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent).
  • Experience within PFI/PPP or Healthcare Estates.
  • Background in Hard FM, engineering compliance or technical building services.
  • Experience producing clear technical reports and presenting findings to clients.
  • Knowledge of building services engineering, asset management and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel nationally.
