Our offices are based in Shepton Mallet but this job role involves driving to and within these locations.
Summary
We are currently seeking a Multi-Trade Operative to join our team at 3 Solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring that our property maintenance services meet the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will work across various projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Completing general maintenance repairs in domestic properties across a variety of trades including; carpentry, plumbing, decorating, groundworks and plastering.
- Responding to emergency repairs when required.
- Carrying out minor construction repairs.
- Assessing job requirements and liaising with residents.
- Adhering to health and safety requirements and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Use a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to record work.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge on a variety of trades.
- The ability to transition between different trades and adjust to new demands.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Good attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Addressing and resolving whilst on site.
Qualifications
- NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in one of these trades is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Full UK Driving licence
We offera competitive salary, company uniform, company vehicle, pension scheme and 22 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.
Our working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm and to cover out of hours call outs on a rata basis which is approximately 1 in every 16 weeks.
