Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a motivated and organised Stock Controller to join their office-based team. You will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining supply continuity, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the business. The ideal applicant will have strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience within stock control, logistics, or supply chain environments would be advantageous.
What's involved for the Stock Controller…- Maintaining optimum stock levels and preventing overstocking
- Monitoring daily stock reports and supporting annual stock audits
- Raising daily factory orders and managing bespoke equipment requests
- Verifying supplier acknowledgements and supporting demand forecasting activities
- Resolving supply chain issues and managing factory delay reporting
- Tracking shipments and supporting logistics and sourcing activities
- Acting as the main point of contact for incoming goods, collections, and returns
- Collaborating with internal departments regarding product quality issues
- Managing stock allocation and maintaining month-end slow/obsolete stock reporting
- Previous experience within stock control, logistics, supply chain, or a similar environment
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to work accurately within a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
