Our client is a growing engineering and infrastructure solutions provider working on complex, high-value projects across the UK. Due to continued project wins, they are now looking to appoint a BIM Engineer with strong CAD or Revit experience to support design, coordination, and delivery on the Thames Rail Project.
In this role, you will take ownership of the BMS function and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across all engineering disciplines. This position is ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys leading in a structured BIM environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
What's involved for the BIM Engineer…
- Producing high-quality BIM models whilst also using CAD or Revit
- Developing and maintaining detailed drawings, models, and documentation in line with project and BIM standards
- Supporting project coordination through common data environments such as ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Collaborating closely with structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers to ensure coordinated design outputs
- Managing drawing revisions, model updates, and version control
- Leading clash detection, model reviews, and design coordination meetings
- Assisting with data management, file structures, and compliance with BIM execution plans
- Providing technical design support throughout the full project lifecycle
- Taking ownership of the BMS function and infrastructure, ensuring design and model integration is accurate and fully coordinated
What you'll need…
- Proven experience within BIM CAD or Revit Design experience is a MUST
- Experience with ProjectWise and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly desirable
- Exposure to Morta would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, standards, and coordination processes
- Ability to work accurately to deadlines in a project-driven environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
