Job Profile
Our client is a well-established healthcare organisation, providing high quality services within a regulated environment. They have approached 3 Point Recruitment to exclusively hire a Part Time Finance Director, with a view for someone to start the role around March/April time but they can wait if notice periods donβt allow for that. The business is entering its next phase of development and is seeking an experienced Part Time Finance Director to provide strategic and operational financial leadership. The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, ensuring robust financial control, compliance and strategic insight to support sustainable growth and effective decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and act as a trusted advisor to the Board and senior leadership team
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Ensure accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements
- Maintain strong financial controls, governance and risk management frameworks
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, statutory and tax requirements
- Lead and develop the finance function, including oversight of day to day finance operations
- Support business planning, investment appraisal and performance analysis
- Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, advisors and regulators
- Contribute to operational and commercial decision making across the organisation
Person Specification
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Significant senior finance leadership experience with relevant sector experience
- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance and governance
- Experience working with businesses of similar scale and complexity
- Commercially astute with the ability to translate financial data into clear strategic insight
- Comfortable operating in a part time, hands-on leadership role
