3 Point Recruitment are hiring a Finance Manager for a profitable, ambitious & reputable SME based near Alcester.
Reporting into the SLT, you will be the go-to person within the business for Finance matter & working closely with the external Accountancy Firm at year-end & during audit. You’ll tighten reporting, control & give running commentary to the Directors, providing clear insight & reports. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys pace, autonomy and being close to commercial decision making.
The business wants an experienced Finance leader who ideally is formally Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) but candidates who are QBE will also be considered if they have the relevant experience.
Duties Will Include
- Lead monthly management accounts with accurate, timely reporting and clear commentary
- Maintain strong balance sheet control and improve processes across the function
- Partner with operational teams to provide useful insight and commercial support
- Oversee cashflow, working capital, debtors/creditors and daily financial discipline
- Manage and develop the Finance team, creating clarity, ownership and high standards
- Support budgeting and forecasting with meaningful variance analysis
- Take responsibility for VAT returns and ensure ledgers, payments and credit control run smoothly
- Oversee stock, margin and payroll administration
- Improve systems, reporting and workflows as the business scales
- Help build a proactive, commercially focused Finance function
