This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong purchasing experience who enjoys supplier relationships, negotiation, problem-solving and working in a fast-moving environment. You will: Report to the Procurement Manager, play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient purchasing of fresh raw materials, balancing quality, availability and cost. Your responsibilities will include: Purchasing fresh produce and raw materials Managing supplier and grower relationships Negotiating prices, terms and conditions Monitoring weekly raw material pricing and market trends Ensuring continuity of supply and managing potential shortages Working closely with QA, Goods-In, Production and Product Development Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate procurement records Supporting traceability and stock management processes Managing supplier performance, delivery times and potential delays Supporting customs clearance processes Identifying opportunities to improve purchasing processes and operational efficiency Troubleshooting procurement system issues and maintaining accurate databases You will have: 35 years experience in a buying/procurement role Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Strong attention to detail and organisational skills The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience working within a regulated environment ADZN1_NI41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
