3 Mile Veterinary Centre is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy practice based in Glasgow, Scotland's south side. You will enjoy working in a GP-accredited and extremely forward-thinking and well-equipped practice, where CPD is encouraged and funded. This role offers a salary up to £65,000 depending on experience, plus benefits. Full or part-time applications are welcome. We are happy to discuss relocation packages.
We are a 100% small animal practice, and you will be joining a fun and very supportive team. Work/life balance is important to us. You will become a valued member of our dedicated team. We recently relocated to a purpose-built practice and have 5 consultation rooms and 2 theatres. We have a designated cat consult room and have recently achieved our ISFM silver award. We are a team of 9 vets, 6 RVNs, 1 PCA and 3 receptionists.
The role involves seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with all routine medical and surgical elements. You will also need to be confident with an occasional sole charge. The successful Veterinary Surgeon will have access to support from our internal referral programme (Vet Oracle) with support in soft tissue, orthopaedic, ophthalmology, cardiology, diagnostic imaging and medicine. In addition, you will be supported in the development of your clinical and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business.
This Veterinary Surgeon opportunity is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week. The successful Veterinary Surgeon will be offered a competitive salary up to £65,000 FTE, dependent on experience. Relocation support packages are available for discussion. We are happy to discuss part-time or full-time shift patterns during the interview.
