Key Consulting is hiring an Engineer for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
Job Details:
- Role: Engineering Technical Authority (ETA) - AI Accelerator (Contract Worker)
- Enable and accelerate the effective use of AI-enabled assistants within ETA global engineering by supporting exploration, integration, and adoption of AI capabilities aligned to ETA workflows.
- The intent is to increase engineering efficiency, shorten design timelines, and reduce design costs through practical application of AI support.
Primary function: Accelerate ETA adoption of AI-enabled assistants by translating engineering needs into practical use cases, enabling access to authoritative engineering data, and increasing hands-on engagement across ETA.

Top Must Have Skills:
- 1-2 years in data engineering role post graduation
- Awareness of current AI trends, tools, and release timing
- Strong working understanding of RAG-based systems, particularly data ingestion, retrieval quality, and response grounding.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve AI-enabled assistants aligned to ETA engineering workflows.
- Help ETA implement connections to engineering systems and accelerate their use, building integrations where needed and under direction of the Digital EOS function.
- Support development and testing of APIs, connectors, and data access patterns.
- Hold regular AI office hours to accelerate adoption, experimentation, and learning.
- Capture insights and emerging opportunities to guide future investment and prioritization.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
