About the Role

At 3 Dimensions School, we specialise in supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and trauma‑related needs. We’re looking for a Maths Teacher who can bring learning to life, build trust, and help our learners achieve meaningful progress — academically, socially and emotionally.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3, KS4 and Post‑16
- Teach a blend of functional maths, Entry Level, GCSE (where appropriate) and real‑life numeracy
- Adapt teaching to meet EHCP outcomes and individual learning profiles
- Use creative strategies such as visual scaffolding, chunking, practical resources and overlearning
- Embed trauma‑informed, low‑arousal approaches to support regulation and engagement
- Track progress, identify gaps and celebrate every success
- Build strong, positive relationships that help students feel safe, confident and ready to learn
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience teaching or supporting Maths learning
- Ability to differentiate for a wide range of needs
- Strong relationship‑building and classroom management skills
- A commitment to inclusive, child‑centred education
- Driving licence required
- QTS (or working towards it)
- Experience in SEN or alternative provision
- Experience delivering Functional Skills, Entry Level or GCSE Maths
- Understanding of EHCPs and preparation for adulthood
