About the Role

At 3 Dimensions School, we specialise in supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and trauma‑related needs. We’re looking for a Maths Teacher who can bring learning to life, build trust, and help our learners achieve meaningful progress — academically, socially and emotionally.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3, KS4 and Post‑16
  • Teach a blend of functional maths, Entry Level, GCSE (where appropriate) and real‑life numeracy
  • Adapt teaching to meet EHCP outcomes and individual learning profiles
  • Use creative strategies such as visual scaffolding, chunking, practical resources and overlearning
  • Embed trauma‑informed, low‑arousal approaches to support regulation and engagement
  • Track progress, identify gaps and celebrate every success
  • Build strong, positive relationships that help students feel safe, confident and ready to learn

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience teaching or supporting Maths learning
  • Ability to differentiate for a wide range of needs
  • Strong relationship‑building and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to inclusive, child‑centred education
  • Driving licence required
  • QTS (or working towards it)
  • Experience in SEN or alternative provision
  • Experience delivering Functional Skills, Entry Level or GCSE Maths
  • Understanding of EHCPs and preparation for adulthood
