Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Temporary Traffic Management Operative based in Cleckheaton. The role involves installing, maintaining, and dismantling temporary traffic management setups such as road closures, diversions, and lane restrictions. The operative will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, assisting with traffic flow management, and operating specialized traffic management equipment. Being adaptable to working in various weather conditions and during unsociable hours is necessary.
Qualifications
- Proficient in installing and managing temporary traffic management setups, including lane closures and diversions
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with experience implementing safety protocols on-site
- Experience operating and maintaining traffic management equipment like signage, cones, and barriers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients
- Valid LANTRA 12D or relevant Temporary Traffic Management qualification
- Flexibility to work outdoors, including during adverse weather conditions and at non-standard hours
- A valid UK driver's license is preferred
