Our ELCAS approved LGV 2 Cat C course will train you to drive, maintain and securely couple the trailer of a full arctic lorry throughout your 17.5 hours of training. The course includes the following:
- 17.5 hours of category C driver training including the 3a and 3b driving tests

What can you drive? With a Cat C licence, you can drive rigid vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, up to 32 tonnes. These include box trucks, tippers, tankers, and refuse lorries—vehicles where the cab and cargo are a single unit. This licence does not cover articulated lorries; those require a Cat C+E licence.
