Train to become an artic lorry driver with our ELCAS LGV 1 Car to C+E training course. If you already have a car licence and are looking to train for your LGV Class 1 licence, our fast track car to C+E driver training packages will be ideal for anyone wishing to train to become an artic lorry driver and obtain their Category C+E HGV/LGV Class 1 driving licence.
The LGV Car to C+E – ELCAS course includes the following:
- Choose between Module 4 CPC practical training and test or 35 hours of periodic CPC training, depending on your needs.
- D2 and D4 forms provided. Use the D2 to apply for your provisional licence. A doctor completes the D4 during your medical.
- We assist with completing the forms if needed.
- Medical appointment booked locally at a convenient time for you.
- Theory revision access issued. You'll receive a login to our online theory revision platform to begin studying.
- Theory tests booked at your local centre. These include Multiple Choice, Hazard Perception, and initial CPC (if applicable). You can book the tests individually or all three together.
- 35 hours of Category C+E driver training included. This covers both 3a (off-road) and 3b (on-road) driving tests.
