Location: Nine Elms, London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am–6:00pm

Salary: £35,000 basic + £5,000 car allowance

OTE: £80,000–£100,000 (top end of this is highly achievable in year 2)

The Opportunity

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Client Services Manager / Team Leader to join a significant and high-performing part of the UK estate agency business. Based from the Nine Elms office, you will lead a team of 3–4 people within a client services function, working with international property clients across Mainland China, APAC, the UK and other global markets. The role offers huge earning potential for someone who is commercially driven, confident on the phone, and able to motivate a team to deliver results. The focus of the role is to generate new sales and lettings instructions for London agency offices by proactively engaging with property owners, investors and prospective clients from a large existing database.

The Role

As Client Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for driving performance across your team while also contributing personally to instruction generation. This is a phone-based, sales-led role where success will be measured by the number of appraisals, instructions and resulting fee income generated by you and your team. You will be working with JLL clients based across the world, predominantly in the UK, Middle East, Mainland China and South-East Asia, so the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of 3–4 client services professionals
  • Generating appraisals and instructions for London sales and lettings offices
  • Proactively contacting property owners and investors from an existing database
  • Targeting owners whose properties are currently marketed with other agents
  • Converting new prospective clients who have submitted enquiries
  • Coaching team members to improve performance and achieve individual targets
  • Managing team activity, performance reviews, motivation and strategic planning
  • Maintaining high standards of client service and compliance
  • Identifying additional London properties owned by clients to grow the database and income stream
  • Driving fee income through successful instruction generation

About You

This role would suit an experienced residential property professional with strong sales ability and proven leadership experience. You will need to be commercially minded, resilient, proactive and comfortable working in a target-driven, commission-based environment. You should have:

  • A strong track record of exceeding sales targets, ideally in a phone-based role
  • Experience leading or managing a team within residential property
  • Excellent knowledge of the London property market
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A confident, proactive and resilient approach
  • The ability to motivate, coach and develop others
