Responsibilities:
- We manage Windows Server and Linux environments to ensure high availability and operational stability.
- We support and optimise VMware virtual infrastructure across production environments.
- We maintain enterprise backup, recovery and disaster recovery capabilities using industry-leading technologies.
- We monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve capacity, availability and resilience issues.
- We administer Microsoft 365 services and support hybrid infrastructure technologies.
- We manage Active Directory, Group Policy, identity administration and user access management.
- We support desktop operating systems, laptops, mobile devices and collaboration technologies across multiple office locations.
- We maintain endpoint security controls, encryption technologies and vulnerability remediation processes.
- We work closely with cyber security teams to strengthen infrastructure security and reduce operational risk.
- We support enterprise patch management and software deployment across server and desktop environments.
- We troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking and systems issues while acting as a senior technical escalation point.
- We contribute to infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh programmes and strategic improvement projects.
- We produce technical documentation, operational procedures and infrastructure standards.
