you will be responsible for evaluating, overseeing, and controlling credit risk across a diverse range of financial products. The role involves ensuring that all credit decisions adhere to internal policies, regulatory expectations, and established risk management standards. This position is ideal for someone with solid experience in credit risk, strong analytical capability, sound judgement, and a focus on responsible lending practices. Key Responsibilities * Track and analyse the performance of existing portfolios, identifying trends, risks, and areas of concern. * Support the creation and ongoing enhancement of credit risk policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks. * Act as secretary for internal credit governance meetings. * Prepare and maintain reporting materials for senior management and risk committees. * Assist in monitoring delinquent accounts, restructuring cases, and early warning indicators. * Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. * Contribute to stress testing, scenario planning, and risk modelling exercises. * Work closely with teams across underwriting, operations, and compliance to maintain consistent risk practices. * Provide support in training new staff on financial crime prevention policies and procedures. * Assist with various compliance-related and administrative duties as required.
