An opportunity has come up in a busy and friendly Private Client team at a respected law firm in Fareham. They are on the lookout for an experienced Private Client Paralegal who can hit the ground running and support the team across a broad range of matters.
What they are looking for:
- Around 18 months+ experience in Wills, Trusts, and Probate
- Someone who can manage their own workload but also work well with others
- Confidence in meeting clients and progressing matters with care and attention
What the role involves:
- Drafting Wills, LPAs, and estate admin paperwork (IHT forms, R185s, deeds etc.)
- Supporting clients over the phone and face-to-face
- Managing your own files under supervision
- Attending client meetings and taking initial instructions
- Working with the TRS and understanding estate tax implications
- Time recording accurately and working to a billing target
- Occasionally travelling between the Fareham, Chichester, Havant, and Petworth offices
You will also be someone who is not afraid to muck in across the team whether it’s helping with document storage or stepping in for a colleague when needed.
