It is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to lead coordination activities, while also supporting wider engineering projects. Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills are essential. Key Responsibilities * Ensure compliance with welding standards and procedures, acting as Responsible Welding Coordinator. * Lead planning data for welding activities in SAP and coordinate welder audits. * Identify and resolve welding issues using structured problem-solving methods. * Develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and standard operating procedures for new and legacy programmes. * Support production engineering and design teams on welding matters, driving improvements and change. Requirements * Proven experience in Technical Welding position with excellent knowledge of Weld procedures * IWT/EWT certified or above * CSWIP 3.1 certified Location: Stockport Employment type: Permanent Benefits 7% Pension Contributions, 4% from candidate, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, life assurance, sick pay, employee assistance programme, wellbeing initiatives, cycle to work scheme, free parking, EV charging points.
