We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Specialist to join Black Country Women\’s Aid.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and education, with experience in developing and delivering engaging content both in-person and online.Proficiency in IT, including Office 365 and virtual platforms, is essential.
You should possess a deep understanding of VAWG and the impact of abuse and violence on individuals.Your commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, children, and young people is paramount.We value a feminist perspective and a client-centred, trauma-informed approach, demonstrating empathy, respect, and compassion in all interactions.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for learning e-learning platforms and creating interactive content.If you are organised, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.Join us in making a difference and empowering victims and survivors of abuse.
The Role: The postholder will ensure that the necessary training is monitored and accessible to staff during their induction and for continued professional development, as part of our workforce development strategy.They will work alongside experts by experience and specialist staff members to develop effective training and assist with the facilitation of this, as and when required.
The postholder will be able to create, develop and adapt materials to meet learner needs and deliver training in person and via online platforms.
