Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to support reporting, analysis, and accounting needs related to SEGA Europe\’s consumer products business.
Reporting to the Head of Brand Licensing EMEA, the role involves working with and supporting the Brand Licensing team in a varied, fast-paced environment. The role will involve liaising with licensees, agents, and various divisions of SEGA.
Key Responsibilities:
Licensees reporting/accounts receivables:
- Facilitate the timely collection and processing of royalty statements uploaded by licensees in Dependable Solutions, ensuring accurate invoices are raised and shared with licensees.
- Ensure client payments are accurate, complete, and sent promptly, liaising directly with licensees and agents.
- Monitor receivables, calculate royalty recoupment, request invoices from the accounting team, and perform payment reconciliation.
- Assist with internal or external financial queries raised by licensees and agents.
Financial Analysis, Forecasting, and Data Analysis:
- Collect and track revenue forecasts from licensees and agents quarterly.
- Assist the Commercial Team with preparing quarterly royalty projections and analysis.
- Assist the Head of Brand Licensing in monthly management reports.
- Support the commercial team with ad-hoc data analysis.
- Handle contract processing, including deal memos and approvals, liaising with SEGA departments, agents, and licensees.
- Manage all stages of the Commercial Approval Pipeline, from deal memo submissions to agreement drafting and execution, with support from Legal and Commercial Managers.
Administration:
- Maintain and update trackers and templates, including contracts, forecasting trackers, and commercial proposals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in business finance and/or accounting/accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with high numeracy skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reports.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently both independently and in a team.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in licensing or handling royalties is beneficial.
