We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager specialised in selling Marketing and advertising services to be a part of our Global Business Development team. The role will be remote based with the Head office in London which you will be expected to visit as required. This role will be key to the growth of the division therefore you will have a solid track record in building, sourcing and closing opportunities within the gaming and entertainment sector. You will have the opportunity to grow in this role and progression is encouraged.
You will be responsible for building and growing Keywords’ relationships with assigned clients, with a specific focus on selling Marketing services. The Business Development Manager will be joining a global team of highly dedicated professionals, which support Keywords’ four divisions as part of a central function. The ideal candidate is an accomplished sales executive with demonstrable success in growing new business in the video game industry. Direct experience of Marketing services is a key requirement. In this role, the primary focus will be on new business generation, but some account management of existing and new accounts will be involved as well.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:- Work with Marketing service line and Business Development Representatives to identify new prospective clients for Keywords’ Marketing service line.
- Develop and execute sales development strategies for these prospective clients.
- Work with the Marketing Solutions Architecture team to qualify leads and manage opportunities throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide customer support, managing client expectations in collaboration with the Marketing Solutions team and Marketing studios.
- Attend qualified trade conferences and provide on stand support where the company is exhibiting.
- Follow the company’s chosen sales methodology and produce all related reports.
- Support the delivery studio in account management where required, managing the relationship with the client, and participating in customer review meetings.
Requirements:
Core Competencies:- Proven experience in generating new business sales to agreed sales targets for Marketing services.
- Networking and relationship-building with the ability to successfully deal with large multinational clients.
- Ability to work as part of a central function, supporting one of the group’s service lines.
- Ability to cooperate with a Solutions Architecture function and represent a group of Marketing studios.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organisation, both internally at Keywords and externally with clients.

Requirements:
- 5 or more years’ experience selling Marketing services ideally in video games industry or technical services industry.
- Degree or Masters in business, marketing, sales or other related field.
- Strong understanding of Marketing services’ market trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics and customer direction.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure and to deadlines.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a remote environment.
- Must be comfortable working at senior executive contact levels.
